A graduate of Wilmington University, USA, he holds an MBA and maintains professional membership with leading global institutions, including CIPS (UK), CILT (UK), CSCMP (US), WERC (US), and ISM (US).

Augustus is a certified supply chain trainer by Dionysus Skills Development (South Africa) and has supported the Government of Ghana’s procurement reforms. He has successfully restructured supply operations for Randgold Resources in Côte d’Ivoire and strengthened logistics for Accra Brewery (SABMiller). His career includes senior roles at Anglogold Ashanti, Randgold Resources, Accra Brewery, and Golden Star Resources.

Recognized for his hands-on leadership, strategic sourcing expertise, and mastery of global procurement standards, Augustus is expected to drive Spotlight Investment’s transformation from development to sustainable growth.

With over 15 years of experience in the gold mining industry, Dr. Okrah has served in key financial roles at Central African Gold (Bibiani) and Golden Star Resources across the Bogoso and Wassa mine sites. He led major responsibilities including budget management, performance reviews, financial forecasting, and the preparation of internal reports and audited financial statements.

Dr. Okrah also served as the lead financial head in project departments, playing a pivotal role in community relocations at Togbekrom and Dumasi. He ensured proper financial planning, contractor payment schedules, and adherence to project standards. His expertise extends to systems administration, where he supervised data integrity and collaborated with international teams to upgrade GSR’s PRONTO software and successfully migrated the payroll system to SAGE.
As a Lawyer, he practiced with Kendick’s Law Firm, providing litigation and advisory services. He has also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant in Accounting at the Institute of Professional Studies.

He currently serves as the Acting Director of the Labour Research & Policy Institute of the Trades Union Congress (TUC)–Ghana, where he provides strategic leadership in labour research, policy analysis, and trade union policy development, contributing significantly to evidence-based decision-making within the labour movement.

Prior to this role, Dr Adinkra-Darko worked as a Research Officer at the Public Utility Workers’ Union (PUWU), supporting collective bargaining, trade union advocacy, capacity-building programmes, data management, and stakeholder engagement, while advising union leadership on economic and labour market trends. His professional profile is further strengthened by academic experience as a Part-time Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the University of Cape Coast, and as an Economics Instructor at Wesley Girls’ High School, reflecting strong competencies in teaching, evaluation, and analytical thinking.

Dr Adinkra-Darko holds a PhD, MPhil, and Bachelor of Education in Economics from the University of Cape Coast. His research interests include unemployment dynamics, labour markets, migration, social protection, modern slavery, climate change, the future of work, just transition, collective bargaining, public spending, and economic growth. He has published in reputable peer-reviewed journals, including SAGE Open, contributed to several national policy studies for TUC-Ghana, and participated in international conferences and training programmes organised by institutions such as the International Labour Organisation (ILO), ITUC-Africa, IndustriALL Global Union, and Public Services International (PSI).

A distinguished alumnus of the University of Praha, USA, Dr. Frimpong is a respected dentist and surgeon, and a proud member of the Inter American College of Physicians and Surgeons. His extensive experience in insurance principles and operations, coupled with his leadership roles in various companies in Israel, including Mendi Gross Dental Clinic, Uzan Insurance Company, Aremac International Company Limited, and Maayan Company Limited, make him an invaluable asset to our team.

Millicent brings over 20 years of experience from the engineering department (planned maintenance) of Anglogold Ashanti-Obuasi mine. She's a Commerce graduate from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and has previously worked with Akrofuom Rural Bank PLC, handling secretarial and administrative tasks. Currently, she's the proprietor of Idun Electricals, an electrical distribution outlet in Obuasi.

Her diverse experience is expected to contribute significantly to the growth of Spotlight Investment Ghana Limited. Her appointment reflects her expertise and commitment to excellence, making her a valuable addition to the board ¹.
